The Good Deeds Challenge

It’s a lesson you don’t expect in school, but something any parent can appreciate – teaching kids to love community service.

Students at Washington Elementary in Bountiful have been learning that lesson as part of a Good Deeds Challenge. They accepted the challenge at the beginning of the school year and then each grade level came up with their own service projects to really own it and give it their all. How they embraced the challenge is pretty inspiring!

The Rocky Mountain Care Foundation, an organization committed to community service, initiated the Good Deeds Challenge. This was the first school to try it out and they’re hoping others schools will jump onboard.
