The North Pole Express

It’s a favorite holiday tradition, pulled from the pages of a favorite holiday
book!

Heber Valley Railroad is getting ready to take families on a magical journey
aboard the “North Pole Express.” Craig Lacey, Executive Director of the Heber
Valley Railroad, tells us what to expect.

The Heber Valley Railroad will celebrate its 15th year of taking families on a
magical journey aboard the “North Pole Express,” a tradition for thousands in
Utah. New this year, the railroad has partnered with top local show choirs to
enhance the on-board entertainment and caroling experience.

Choirs will rotate through the train cars performing classic holiday songs and
will lead passengers in festive sing-alongs while cocoa chefs serve hot cocoa
and cookies.

“Each year, we work to improve the experience and make it more exciting,”
said Craig Lacey, executive director of the Heber Valley Railroad. “Everyone
loves listening and singing along to holiday music. We’re excited to provide a
more active and fun singing experience for passengers.”

As in past years, upon the train’s arrival at the North Pole Santa Claus will
board and give each passenger a gift. Also as in past years, children and
adults are encouraged to wear pajamas aboard the train.

Tickets are now on sale for this popular holiday train. The North Pole Express
will depart every Monday through Saturday, Nov. 19 – Dec. 24, 2011
(excluding Thanksgiving Day).
