Holly Curtis highlights some of the activities at This Is The Place Heritage Park’s Candlelight Christmas event.
Throughout the evenings, starting November 27th, our historical buildings in the village are transformed. Imagine a Norman Rockwell painting come to life complete with carolers in the street, a live nativity with animals, a visit with Father Christmas, live reindeer, hands on arts and crafts, dancing around a holiday tree, and, new this year, take a stroll through our elf village.
Candlelight Christmas has become a tradition for local families and visitors from around the country, as well as romantics looking for a special date night and seniors rekindling memories of holidays past. You can even rent any number of historical buildings for your family or corporate party. You’ll find unique gifts and confectionaries at our village shops. And, with homemade food served nightly all you have to do is bring the holiday cheer.
Visit This Is The Place Heritage Park from November 27- December 23 every evening at 6:00 pm except Sundays. This year join us and start your family tradition at This Is The Place Heritage Park.
