7 Dietary Restriction Friendly Restaurants

Bloom, Logan
13 W Center St, Logan, UT 84321

Bloom is a plant-based eatery with a menu full of fresh ingredients!  On top of that, the space is a darling bistro with inviting pops of color throughout.  My recommendations here are the grown up grilled cheese with vegan cheese options and the smoothie bowls.

Hub & Spoke Diner
1291 S 1100 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84105

This diner had everything I love in a restaurant – great variety of food and a warm, cozy atmosphere. Here you absolutely have to get the Vegan Grits Skillet or the short rib tacos on corn tortillas.  Their specialty is gluten-free dishes.

Vessel Kitchen
1146 E Fort Union Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047

When I think of clean eating, Vessel Kitchen comes to mind.  It’s fast, fresh and they offer dishes with loads of veggies and clean protein and carbohydrate options. My preference here is to build my own market plate and pile on the hash or brussel sprouts on the side.

Aubergine
530 E University Pkwy, Orem, UT 84097

Aubergine is a tried and true favorite of mind.  They have a menu packed with Mediterranean inspired dishes, all of which can be modified to fit your dietary needs.  The harvest bowl is my go-to, but if you need a more gluten free friendly dish, order the dream salad or an açaí bowl.

Redmond Farms Kitchen
420 W 800 N, Orem, UT 84057

This is a one stop shop for all of your organic food needs!  It doubles as a store and kitchen cafe, so you can tackle any grocery shopping you need to do and order a mood boosting meal at the same time.  I loved the farm burger on a gluten free bun and the chili pork skillet (the braised pork is marinated in house-made kombucha!).

Gaia’s Garden Cafe
695 100 W St, St. George, UT 84770

It’s quaint, it’s cute, and the food here is fantastic.  This restaurant is the prime example of tasting the food and having no clue that everything is vegan.  The depth of flavor is great and their ingredient swaps don’t skip a beat.  I loved the breakfast burrito and chia seed pudding here.

Feellove Coffee
558 E Riverside Dr #208, St. George, UT 84790

Who said donuts can’t be allergen friendly?!  Not Feellove Coffee!  Their vegan donuts are comparable to cake donut texture, but are surprisingly moist and flavorful. While you’re at it, snag a protein bite or five – they’re so yummy!
