Elliott has been regarded for years as one of the top women’s collegiate coaches in the country, and with good reason. She has amassed a 536-212 record (.717) and has the longest tenure of any coach in the Mountain West Conference.
During her illustrious career, the winningest coach in Utah basketball history has led the Utes to 15 NCAA Tournament appearances, ten regular season conference titles, three divisional crowns and six league tournament championships.
This winter, the University of Utah Women’s Basketball team is looking for great support from the community and invite you to all the games of the season. But here’s a reminder for four special dates to remember:
December 30 – playing Pac 10’s University of Southern California
January 11 – the Conference Season Opener
February 8 – U vs. Wyoming
It’s the “Power of Pink” game … where fans wear pink and support cancer research
February 28 vs. Brigham Young University
It’s “Pack the House” Night – kids 12 and under are free as well as free parking and if you’re over 13, tickets are only $5
It’s a big season for the U Women’s Basketball team so support them and get tickets by either calling (801) 581-UTIX or go online at www.utahutes.com
