You can get your entire family involved in family history with some activities geared even for younger children. On Friday and Saturday (Sep. 21-22) the Utah Genealogical Association will hold their Fall Family History Fair.
Janet Havorka is the president of the Utah Genealogical Association and explains what will be there.
Classes, vendors, and activities will include all experience and interest levels. Activities for young children from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
-The conference will be at the Sandy Campus of Salt Lake Community College near the 106th South off ramp of I-15.
-Lunches will be available for pre-order and pizza and snacks will be available to purchase Friday evening.
There are two hours of classes Friday evening on the latest technology and getting started as a beginner that are perfect for people just getting started. With a fresh schedule and vendor’s activity booth games, this will be different than any genealogy conference you’ve ever seen.
