Chelsea Fairbourn shared a list of her hangar antidotes.

Hangar is a real thing! These restaurants are known for their larger portion sizes and crave-worthy foods, making them perfect for those times when you need a quick and satisfying meal.

Edna’s

380 N 850 E, Lehi

Edna’s is a favorite spot with two locations in Provo and Lehi. Their speciality is home-style comfort food with generous portions. From pasta and burgers to sandwiches and meatloaf, their menu is filled with hearty staples. Meatloaf is one of their most popular dishes, and their loaded fries are a must-try. The cozy, homey feel of Edna’s makes it a great place to satisfy your hangar cravings.

Sol Agave

American Fork & Salt Lake

Next on the list is Sol Agave, with locations in American Fork and downtown. Sol Agave is known for its crave-worthy Mexican food. Chelsea recommended the crispy chicken tinga tacos and the seafood platter. The portion sizes are substantial, and the flavors are rich and satisfying. Don’t forget to try their pork belly bites and butter cake for a complete meal!

Salt & Olive

270 S 300 E, Salt Lake City

Continuing north, Salt & Olive in downtown is a carb lover’s paradise. This upscale spot offers pasta, pizza, and even salads if you want a lighter option. Chelsea’s favorite is the Bucatini pasta and the truffle pizza. Their breadboard is also a good choice, perfect for sharing or even enjoying on your own. You’ll definitely have leftovers the next day.

Burley Burger

Weber, Layton, Ogden, West Haven

No list of hangar antidotes would be complete without a burger joint. Burley Burger is a family favorite. They are known for their over-the-top burgers, and you can even get a burger with ten patties if you’re feeling adventurous. Chelsea’s favorite is the Swanson burger, which is a fancy twist on the classic. Their milkshakes are also a popular choice.

Angie’s

690 Main Street, Logan

Finally, head to Logan to visit Angie’s. They are known for their classic diner fare, but with one standout menu item: the famous kitchen sink challenge. They will fill a literal kitchen sink with ice cream and all the sundae toppings you can imagine. It’s a fun challenge that requires a group effort to finish. The presentation is unbeatable, and it’s a true badge of honor to complete the challenge.
