Silky white chocolate takes this popular tropical dessert to the next
White Chocolate Key Lime Pie
8 oz. white chocolate chunks
1- 14 oz. Sweetened condensed milk
4 egg yolks
1 c. key lime juice (I love Nellie & Joe’s)
1-8 “Graham cracker crust
Lime slices, for garnish
White chocolate, melted for garnish
In a microwave safe dish, melt your white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk, about
2-3 minutes stirring every 30 seconds. Continue to melt until desired consistency. I like
some small white chocolate chunks still visible.
In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks, and key lime juice. After your chocolate
mixture has cooled, slowly add your egg mixture to your chocolate mixture, while stirring.
Pour your key lime pie filling into your graham cracker crust and bake at 350 degrees for
15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool 15 minutes before refrigerating. Makes 6-8
servings or 1 8″pie.
Graham Cracker Crust
4 c, crushed graham crackers
3/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
Stir together all ingredients until graham crackers are evenly coated with butter and sugar.
Divide evenly between 2- 8 inch pie plates, pressing evenly around edges and bottom of
the plate. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
