White Chocolate-Macadamia Cookies

3/4 pound butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
2 eggs
2 1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch salt
1/2 pound white chocolate chips
3/4 cup macadamia pieces

Blend together the first five ingredients with mixer on high speed for 30 seconds. Reduce the speed of the mixer and add the eggs and blend for one minute. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and blend together. Add the white chocolate chips and macadamia pieces and mix well.

Form the cookie dough into balls slightly larger than golf balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees.
