Capture the Daily Details: Here’s why you should document a week in your (normal) life

Document a week, not of vacation, but of normal life.

Imagine if you came across a journal or a day planner of your grandmother. The glimpse into her everyday life would be a treasured keepsake. The seemingly mundane daily details would offer you a snippet into her true story. Who will treasure your story? Take the time to document the details in a week-long project called, “Week In The Life.”

It’s a memory keeping movement started by Ali Edwards where you document throughout one full week to leave that legacy of remembering for you and your loved ones. Ali says that capturing details like when you wake up each day, what you eat, where you go, all become “magic” over time. It is the rhythms and routines that make up the whole of our lives. She says doing this practice is a form of gratitude.
