Whether it’s keeping whites white or getting baked on gunk off of cookie sheets, there are a million and one hacks that claim to work. But your mom or grandma most likely had the right idea. Go back to the basics to level up your cleaning game.

Recipe for Cleaning Whites
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. meat tenderizer
- 1/4 cup borax
- 1/4 cup dish detergent
- 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
- 1 TBS salt
Directions
Mix well with 2 cups of hot water. Pour or spray a small amount on the arm pits and let set at least 30 minutes. Wash as usual.
