This hot honey chicken has the perfect balance of sweet and spice.
You’re never too old for chicken nuggets, but this hot honey rendition feels a little more grown-up and sophisticated. We’ll argue it’s so much more delicious than a bag of dino-shaped nuggets.
Juli Ash, from Tangled with Taste, shares her recipe for air fryer hot honey chicken. This 20-minute meal nails the sweet-spicy flavor combo on the head. The air fryer is key to getting a super crisp exterior, and a juicy center.
Don’t miss the drizzle of hot honey on top. It’s not too spicy, and isn’t going to set your taste buds on fire. It brings a little kick, but not so much that it’s overpowering.
You’ll love how versatile this chicken is. There are lots of ways to serve it up! Try adding it to a cobb salad, or on a chicken sandwich.
