Eat an apple treat… take a canyon drive! 5 cozy additions to our Fall Find the Love List

Gather up the family for a fall canyon drive!

Finally, a to-do list you’ll feel excited about!

We want to introduce you to a new series that we are, full disclosure, very excited about. The goal of this new series is to help you find the everyday a little more romantic, a little more special, and a little more fun. We’re calling it “Find the Love List,” and we hope it does just that – helps you find and feel love. Love for your family and love for your life.

Each season of the year, Studio 5 Producer Harlee Frodsham will roll out five things for you to try, see, or do. Starting with a favorite – fall!

We’ve created a printable to help you keep track of these activities. Print it out, put it on your fridge, and mark off each activity as you complete it. Download it here.

Five Fall Activities to Try

  1. Cemetery Service: Visit your local cemetery and leave flowers on graves.
  2. Create a Boo House: Transform a birdhouse into a Halloween-themed “boo house.” Visit Michaels or your nearest craft store, buy a basic birdhouse, and decorate it with your family. You can pick a spooky or cutesy theme and find inspiration on Pinterest! Just search “Halloween Birdhouse.”
  3. Apple-licious! As the weather cools, warm up the home with some baking. Bake an apple dessert and share it with someone you love. Try Amy Richardson’s warm homemade applesauce with cinnamon whipped cream, or find other apple recipes on our website.
  4. You’re a Wizard, Harry: Cozy up with blankets and pillows and watch your favorite Harry Potter movie. Bonus points if you include butterbeer! This activity is perfect for setting the fall mood.
  5. Canyon Cards: Take a drive up the canyon, play a card game, and enjoy the fall colors. The winner gets to pick a sweet treat for the drive home. This is a fun way to connect with nature and each other.

A special thanks to our talented KSL graphics team, especially Lyss Larsen, for the beautiful hand-illustrated graphics. Their work adds a special touch to not only this series, but to every show.
