Bakeries are booming! 5 Utah spots for the best baked goods

Try one of these Utah bakeries!

Whether your vice is a sweet and flakey chocolate croissant or a custard-filled fruit tart, baked goods have a way of making our tastebuds sing! A recent headline from the New York Times caught our eye. They say the golden age of bakeries is upon us. The article states that bakeries are ‘booming,’ even in places where restaurants are struggling.

We’re calling this resurgence of comfort carbs the bakery renaissance. It’s only fitting to highlight some of our favorite bakeries around Utah! Chelsea Fairbourn ventured out on a bakery crawl and shared her five favorites.

Keep in mind, bakery hours are sometimes different. So if you’re craving a croissant at 5 PM, you might be out of luck. Most bakeries open in the morning.
