When the Food Network was looking for the best chicken recipe for their show “Ultimate Recipe Showdown”, their spotlight landed on Amparo Alam who ended up being chosen as the Grand Prize winner. She and her husband now use that chicken recipe and other Peruvian and American dishes at their restaurant Café Limon in Syracuse.
