Chocolate Pudding

Chocolate Pudding
¼ C. sugar
2 C. milk (I like to use evaporated)
¼ tsp. salt
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. cocoa


Mix sugar, salt, cornstarch, flour, and cocoa in a pot. Turn the heat on to medium heat and stir in milk and eggs with a whisk. Boil 2 minutes or until thick consistency. Stir constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Cool. Can serve warm or cold. I like to top with whip cream.
