Breakfast with Santa Start your holiday season off with a delicious breakfast with a special visitor from the North Pole — Santa Claus! The jolly old elf will be at Discovery Gateway for a hearty breakfast at 8 am on Saturday, December 6 and Saturday, December 13. Valley Fair Mall in conjunction with the West Valley City Police Department and Hollywood Connection will host three giving trees this year. Each tree will feature a tag displaying a child in need of special assistance. New this year, when shoppers donate unwrapped gifts purchased from Valley Fair Mall for the Giving Tree program, they will receive an entry into a drawing for one of the five jumbo animals on display at the Santa Set. Each gift purchased equals one entry in to the drawing.

Come play with Santa, Mrs. Clause, and their elf friends at the craziest carnival this side of The North Pole! Fun games, prizes and some of Mrs. Claus’ famous cookies and milk are sure to cheer you. Games include: Once There Was a Snowman (create your own whimsical snowman using household items), Present Peek (put your hand in wrapped boxes and see if you can figure out what’s in the box), Stocking Stuffer (help Santa fill the stockings in a relay race by carrying candy in spoons), Snowball Fight (toss snowballs into Frosty’s top hat and see if you can get 5 in fifteen seconds), O Christmas Tree (a relay race to decorate a tree with ornaments).
