Digital Banners

Graphic Artist and Co-Owner of House of 3, Rhonna Farrer explains how.

Incorporating digital designs in crafting can open up a whole new world of creating! There are so many different ways you can use digital designs in your crafting. One easy way is the printables that are available at House of 3.

They are designed to be easy to print in a PDF file which can be printed out of any program, like the free Adobe Reader or even a word processing program.

Printable Banners are offered in various styles & can be customized in the higher end software programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. There are various sizes, too! From mini banners to larger banners, they are designed on an 8.5 x 11 document size so it’s easy to print, cut & create!

For a basic, no-nonsense party banner it’s as easy as 1.2.3. Print. Cut. Hang.

1. Print. Download your Printable Banner from House of 3, unzip the file & open it up in Adobe Reader or any other program of your choice. Print it out on your home printer. Tip: You can always take the files to an office supply store & have them print them out if you don’t have a printer at home.

2. Cut. Follow the simply lines on the Printable & cut out.

3. Hang. The banners are so fun, you can hang them anywhere! Simply staple or tape them onto some ribbon, lace, tulle or string/twine! Or you can even sew them together on a sewing machine for a homemade touch! Tip: Add other elements in the banner, too, like paper doilies or flowers. Have fun with adding words or names to the banners to make any occasion special! Or just string up some colorful banners to add as a decoration for every day or holidays!
