The durian is described as looking like a spiky football and smelling like a sewage tank. In fact, in some places, you are not allowed to even take a durian into an airport or subway station or hotel since the whole place would have to be deodorized. Although the fruit has a nasty smell, it is valued for its nutrient value. The flesh can be turned into desserts and baked goods. And the juice is often mixed with other tropical fruit juices for a durian cocktail.
