Fall Make-Up Trends

While it is only July, Fall trends are making their way on the scene. Deep
earthy tones and rich colors are staples of this upcoming season. Recently
released fall makeup lines are here and Kristie Burnett has her favs and says
it’s all about taking the chance to try a new look.

MAC Heavenly Creature Collection www.maccosmetics.com

The MAC Heavenly Creature is out of the world, literally and figuratively. Each
makeup pot is designed with a planetary theme giving the illusion of a solar
system wrapped up in one pretty little MAC package. With coordinating
Cremesheen Glass, lipstick and polish the collection is completed.

Kristies’s Splurge: Creamshine Lipgloss $19.50 gives you a beautiful jeweled
toned lip.

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir www.lauramercier.com

Laura Mercier collections are always a win because they provide universally
flattering shades. What I mean by that is Laura Mercier follows the trends but
isn’t overtly trendy. You won’t find shocking lime greens and yellows in the
collections, purple lipliner will be nowhere in sight. What you will find are
classic colors blended with the seasonal trends to create a glamourous look.
Cinema Noir brings us the glamour of Hollywood with a modern twist.

Kristie’s Splurge: Eye Duet $22 create the perfect natural toned smoky eye.

Yves Saint Laurent Fall Collection www.yslbeautyus.com

If there was a way to package ‘hotness’ then YSL has cornered the market.
Just looking at the new Fall/Winter 2012 makeup collection by Yves Saint
Laurent makes me weak. This luxury makeup line oozes glamour. Their color
selection for Fall is divine, featuring deep reds, chic khakis and delectable
animal print packaging. Let your fall makeup splurge be the Palette Couture.

Palette Couture $65 a definite splurge with impeccable packaging this cheek
highlighter is perfect for enhancing your cheekbones.

Becca Cosmetics Balearic Love www.beccacosmetics.com

Becca Cosmetics is one of my favorite boutique makeup collections. While the
Balearic Love collection was introduced this spring, included are perfect
colors to take us into fall. The eye palette has jeweled tones of bronze and
violet with complimentary nail lacquer colors and the eye tint is the hero of
the collection providing you with water-resistant coverage.

Kristie’s Splurge: Line & Define eye pencil $23 gives you two perfectly toned
shades to create your architectural eyeliner.

China Glaze On Safari www.chinaglaze.com

China Glaze On Safari is the new 2012 Fall Collection. Animal prints are back
with a vengeance this season and this collection is full of safari inspired
colors. Have fun with the coordinating colors in this collection and create a
little nail art of your own.
