Fitness Trend: Hot Hula

A new wave in the dance fitness world is sure to ignite you inner island
goddess. It’s called Hot Hula, and these classes promise a total body workout
while enjoying a tropical island escape. Dance instructor Halli Tinti tried out
this happy hula workout for us.

In 60 minutes Hot Hula fitness isolates your larger muscle groups while
increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the
abs, glutes, quads and arms. Inspired by the dances of the pacific islands,
Hot Hula Fitness uses easy to perform traditional and new dance movements
set to the sound of Polynesian drums. The class is fused with funky reggae
and hip hop making it a modern HIP fitness workout. All ages and fitness
levels are welcome and will absolutely love shaking it up in Hot Hula.
Students are known to show up 30 minutes early just to get a spot in class.

You can find more information about the classes at anna-rita.com or you can join Hot Hula on their Facebook
