Disney treat.
Giant DIY Churros
2 c. water
3 T sugar
Pinch of salt
4 T vegetable oil
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 t. cinnamon
Vegetable oil for frying
Pastry bag or gallon size freezer bag
Large star tip for piping (optional)
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 c. milk chocolate chips
1/2 t. vanilla

In a medium sauce pan, heat water, 3 tbsp. sugar, salt and 4 tbsp. vegetable oil until
simmering. Remove from heat, adding 1 cup of flour at a time. Stir until flour is
absorbed. Set the sticky dough aside until ready to fry, and cool to the touch. About 10
minutes.

Meanwhile, heat 2″ of vegetable oil in your large skillet over medium heat.

In a separate baking dish, combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon, and stir. Set
aside.

Place dough into your piping bag and squeeze a long strip about 8-10 inches, cutting
the end with kitchen scissors. Gently turn once golden on one side, cooking about 1
minute per side. Place cooked dough on a paper towel to drain off the excess oil. Then
place the hot cooked churro into your cinnamon and sugar mixture and cover, getting
the mixture in all the nice little ridges. Serve while warm. Makes 10- 10″ servings.

Chocolate Sauce:
Heat heavy cream for 1 minute in the microwave. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until
smooth and creamy. Serve along side with the churros.
