Girl Scouts: Making an Impact for Today’s Girls

Girl Scouts: Making an Impact for Today’s Girls

Positive adult role models are important for girls of all ages. Did you know that two-thirds of girls today want to be leaders, but only 1 in 5 believes she has the skills to lead?

Volunteers are the backbone of Girl Scouts of Utah. Leaders and mentors help girls grow in confidence and guide them as they take on leadership roles.

Girl Scouts provides girls with more ways to learn and lead than any other organization and girl leadership experiences are what makes Girl Scouting unique.

Leadership skills can be cultivated at any age. Girl Scout programming is an integrated leadership experience that helps girls K-12 develop skills that serve them now and throughout their lives.

There are several flexible volunteer options (we call them pathways). Simply match your skills, interests, and availability to the opportunities available.

. Start a troop in your neighborhood – YOU determine how often to meet!

. Share your expertise with girls at special events

. Travel with girls

. Provide a Girl Scout experience to girls from underserved communities

. Support Girl Scouts of Utah’s administrative staff

Our need for volunteers is greater than ever!

Girl Scouts is celebrating 100 years in 2012 and there are many exciting events and celebrations planned. Don’t miss out on the incredible opportunity to be a part of our 100th Anniversary year!
