o This weekend’s stops: The truck is heading over to the Gallivan Center right now! Later today, we’ll head down to Spanish Fork for a stop at Macey’s grocery store.
o Tomorrow the Melt Mobile will head down to Orem for the Utah Valley Women’s Expo on the Utah Valley University campus.
o Saturday, the Melt Mobile will be attending the Avenues Street Fair here in Salt Lake City.
o The Melt Mobile will also be out next weekend at the Hogle Zoo, then heading up to Park City.

Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich
1 tablespoon Cache Valley® Butter
2 slices light Italian bread or 1 deli round flat bun
2 tablespoons marinara sauce
8 low-fat pepperoni slices
1 slice Cache Valley® Natural Provolone Cheese
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of Cache Valley® Butter on one side of one slice of bread, and place butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Spread 1 tablespoon marinara sauce on top. Layer pepperoni slices on top of sauce. Place 1 slice Cache Valley® Natural Provolone Cheese on top of pepperoni. Spread remaining marinara sauce on second slice of bread, and complete sandwich with marinara side inward. Spread remaining Cache Valley® Butter on top slice of bread.
Grill on flat griddle over medium heat until golden brown. Flip, and repeat on second side. Remove from heat; slice and enjoy.
Apple Pie Grilled Cheese
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 small apple, cut into thin rounds
1 tablespoon Cache Valley® Butter
2 slices cinnamon swirl bread
1 slice Cache Valley® Natural Cheddar Cheese
Mix together cinnamon and brown sugar. Cut apple into thin rounds or thin slices. Toss with cinnamon sugar mixture. In small bowl, microwave apple mixture on high for 1 minute.
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of Cache Valley® Butter on one side of one slice of bread, and place butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Place 1 slice Cache Valley® Natural Cheddar Cheese on top. Spoon apple mixture over cheese. Spread remaining Cache Valley® Butter on second slice of bread, and complete sandwich with top slice of bread, butter-side facing up.
Grill on flat griddle over medium heat until golden brown or brown sugar in bread begins to caramelize. Flip, and repeat on second side. Remove from heat; slice and enjoy.
For a lighter version, do not cook the apples. Add fresh slices, and continue to griddle as recommended.
Meatball Sub Grilled Cheese Sandwich
1 tablespoon Cache Valley® Butter
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 slices white Italian bread or deli flat bun
2 tablespoons marinara sauce
2 precooked turkey meatballs, sliced in half
1 slice Cache Valley® Natural Provolone Cheese
Mix Cache Valley® Butter and garlic powder together in small bowl to make garlic butter.
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of garlic butter on one side of one slice of bread, and place butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Spread 1 tablespoon marinara sauce on top. Add sliced meatballs on top of sauce. Place 1 slice Cache Valley® Natural Provolone Cheese on top of meatballs. Spread remaining marinara sauce on second slice of bread, and complete sandwich with marinara side inward. Spread remaining garlic butter on top slice of bread.
Grill on flat griddle over medium heat until golden brown. Flip, and repeat on second side. Remove from heat; slice and enjoy.
