Get your whole family together for an event they won’t forget. Best of all, it’s for a good cause!
Anne Marie Gunther with Larry H. Miller Charities shares details on the Million Miles at Miller Cycling Event.
Million Miles at Miller is a unique cycling event where the entire family can participate! It’s on Saturday, September 22 at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.
· This really is a unique cycling event in that it truly caters to families.
· Anyone who cycles knows how much time is spent training and racing. It’s not unusual to spend every Saturday on your bike—and away from your family. But with Million Miles at Miller you can bring your family with you! You can ride a century, metric century, or 30 miles and have your family join you for your last 4.5 mile lap—finishing the race together!
· After the ride (or while you’re out riding), families can enjoy the fun festivities at our Kids Zone! We’ll have face painting, bounce houses, rock climbing, music, food, and lots more!
· This is the only cycling event in Utah where you can ride on a world class closed course race track! This is the same track the professional riders use during the Tour of Utah team time trials!
· All proceeds directly benefit Utah’s Special Olympic athletes and Larry H. Miller Charities. You are riding for a great cause!
· Registration for the 100, 62, or 30 mile rides is $25.00. Then we’re asking each rider to fundraise a minimum of $100. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Utah and Larry H. Miller Charities!
· Families of up to two adults and six children may participate in the Family Fun Ride for only $15.00, with no fundraising requirement for the Family Fun Ride.
· You can register directly on line at www.millionmilesatmiller.com
· We are offering a special discount for your Studio 5 viewers. If you register this week, you can get a $5 discount off of your registration. So the family fun ride will be $10 and registration for the 30, 62, and 100 mile rides will be just $20. Simply enter coupon code “Studio 5” when registering!
