Holly Mathie’s Gift Pick

Every year I have five girlfriends that I send gifts to. I try to pick a theme and relate beauty products to them and package it all up in cute, little stockings.

In 2004, it was: “Toe” You, From Holly (pedicure products and sassy toe rings)

In 2005, it was: “Face the New Year with Joy” (face products)

Last year, it was: “Under the Mistletoe” (lip products)

This year’s theme is “May Your Eyes Be Merry and Bright”.

Included is:

Eye gel mask

$3.69, Wal-Mart

This is great to wake up tired eyes and relieve under eye puffiness. I keep mine in the fridge and pull it out cool as needed. It works well too if you have a headache.

L’Oreal “Lash Out” (my favorite mascara!)

$4.99, Walgreen’s (on sale)

I like giving my friends a favorite product to try. I love this mascara because it adds volume without clumping, and it does not flake. The brush can define every lash or add a lot of drama, depending on how light or how heavy you apply it.

A shimmer powder in silver or gold

$5.00, Mall Kiosks

Knowing my friends coloring, I look for the tone that will most flatter them. I love shimmer powder because it adds sparkle to the eyes. Put it under the eyebrow as a highlighter or on the eyelid to reflect the light from the eyes.

MAC white eyeliner in “Fascinating”

$13.50, Nordstrom

Placed in the water well, this product can illuminate eyes and eliminate dull tired eyes. This is the quickest and best “pick me up” to get the glean back in your eyes.

L’Oreal Decrease Eye shadow Base

$5.50, Wal-Mart

This is the best product for keeping your shadow staying fresh all day. This helps to prevent eye shadow creasing as well. It evens out a nice “canvas” to start applying your make-up on.

“EYE TIPS” Cards

I print out a couple of looks off the internet onto cardstock and then break down the steps how to achieve the look.
