It’s Your Last Chance for Girl Scout Cookies

It’s Your Last Chance for Girl Scout Cookies

Utahns have one more chance to purchase their favorite Girl Scout cookies at community cookie booths starting tomorrow, March 11-27, 2011.

Miss Media Girl Scouts Alexandria Cooley and Jessica Gunderson shared how to get your hands on those delicious Girl Scout Cookies.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is an American tradition. As the nation’s premier entrepreneurship program, girls develop a wide range of skills, including money management, goal setting and public speaking. Girls who participate in the Cookie Program earn activity credits that can be used to help pay for activities or camps, Girl Scout merchandise or worldwide Girl Scout travel destinations.

To find a cookie booth in your neighborhood, visit www.gsutah.org. Enter your zip code into the cookie booth locator for times and locations near you!

Please remember that Girl Scout Cookies are a delicious “sometimes treat.” Consumption at appropriate portion levels is encouraged. J

Each box of cookies is $3.50. All cookie proceeds stay in Utah and $2.37 from every box of cookies and go toward troop proceeds, programs and services, and leadership experiences for girls in grades K-12.

The mission of Girl Scouts is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
