January Steals and Deals

Now that it’s January, many of us are having a bit of bank-account shock from the aftermath of the holidays. Now you can focus on saving instead of spending.

Studio 5 Steals and Deals Contributor Jordan Page has spotted a few great deals to take advantage of to help perk up your wallet!

· Jimmy John’s $0.50 loaves of bread

Sure, we all love Jimmy John’s (http://www.jimmyjohns.com) sandwiches (and love that they deliver!). But…did you know that you can buy entire loaves of that famous Jimmy Johns bread for just $0.50? It’s true! Each day they sell their leftover loaves from the day before for just $0.50. They are still fresh-tasting, soft, and delicious. You can use them in many different ways: whether it’s making your own sandwiches at home, serving it toasted with dinner, or even cutting it through the middle and making homemade french bread pizza, it’s a tasty deal no matter how you chose to take advantage of it.

· Walgreens clearance toys

We all know and love Walgreens for their pharmacy items. But an insider’s tip is to keep your eye on their toy isles after the holidays! Right now they have a plethora of large toys, all on sale for $4.99:

· Target’s new price-match policy

Target, Target, Target…who doesn’t love that store? It’s a nice one-stop shop, especially when looking for gifts. However, they don’t always have the best prices…until now. Target recently announced a new year-round price-match policy. They will match any online price from Wal-Mart, Amazon, Best-Buy, and Toys-r-Us, and will also match prices in-store. This is HUGE! It’s common knowledge that Amazon could run a killer deal on an item online, but it typically sells out quickly. Now you can find the item and price you want online, and take it into Target. No more worrying about paying for shipping, or quantities running out online. Read more about this announcement HERE, and read the new policy details HERE.
