‘There is no reason not to make fresh hummus!’ Here is an easy and delicious recipe to try

Fresh hummus is not hard to make yourself!

It’s a veggie tray go-to, and often paired with a piece of flatbread. Whipping up a batch of hummus at home is easier than you think! It’s versatile, smooth, and the perfect summer spread.

Tami Steggell shared how it’s as easy as adding chickpeas to the blender. “There is literally no reason not to make hummus fresh,” Tami said. “It’s fast and inexpensive. This is my go-to dip for road trips and week-long vacations at Lake Powell.”

Hummus translates as ‘chickpea’ in Arabic. “It’s the quintessential Middle Eastern dip made by blending chickpeas with tahini, garlic, and lemon juice.” Tami explained. It’s creamy, satisfying, and packed with plant-based protein.

Tami brought four hummus variations into our kitchen: beet, curried, roasted red pepper, and a speedy 10-minute hummus.
