8 ounces dry penne pasta
1/2 yellow onion, diced
6 ounces spicy sausage (Sicilian)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 Tbl. fresh basil, diced
3 Tbl. Parmesan cheese
Cook the pasta, drain, and set aside.
Cook the onions and sausage, heavy saute pan over medium heat for 4-5 min. or until done. Add the cream and basil and cook for 2-3 min. Remove from heat. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serve with garlic bread.
