Plump Turkey Cake Pop

Plump Turkey Cake Pop
1 lb. dark melting chocolate
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Small white round non-pareils
Whole almonds or candy corn
Small pretzels
Black food coloring pen or black gel pen

1 recipe cake bites or cake pops, prepared and ready to dip
Cake bite recipe suggestions: Sweet Potato Pie, Pumpkin Pie or Harvest
Pumpkin

Heat white melting chocolate per directions on package. Add 2 tbsp. vegetable oil and
stir to combine with warm chocolate.

Dip into dark chocolate, covering all sides. Gently tap cake bite until excess
chocolate slides off. Set cake bite on wax paper until chocolate firms. Or if you are
going to make a cake pop, slide the pretzel up the stick and press firmly to the wet
chocolate until it sets. These are the feet. Using the melting chocolate as your glue,
place the candy corn for the nose, the feathers, the almond or candy corn for the beak,
the white non-pareils for the eyes. Let set. Then use your black food coloring pen to
finish the eyes.
