2 CUPS MARGARINE
1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1 CUP BROWN SUGA, PACKED
2 EGGS, BEATEN
1 TSP. VANILLA
4 CUPS FLOUR
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
1/2 TSP. SALT
YOUR CHOICE OF:
1/2 CUP FLAKED COCONUT
1/2 TSP. NUTMET AND 1TSP. GROUND CINAMMON
1/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED CHERRIES
1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED PECANS
1 SQUARE (1 OZ.) MELTED BAKING CHOCOLATE
PLAIN PORTION OF SUGAR COOKIES


1. CREAM MARGARINE, GRADUALLY ADD SUGARS; BEAT UNTIL FLUFFY

2. ADD EGGS AND VANILLA, MIXING WELL.

3. STIR TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING SODA AND SALT. GRADUALLY ADD TO CREAMED
MIXTURE.

4. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 6 (1 CUP) PORTIONS. PUT EACH PORTION ON A PIECE OF
PLASTIC WRAP, ADD DESIRED FLAVORINGS AND ROLL UP IN SAME PIECE OF PLASTIC.
CHILL 30 MINUTES. SHAPE DOUGH INTO ROLLS. WRAP TIGHTLY IN PLASTIC WRAP AND
REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT OR FREEZE UNTIL READY TO USE. THAW FROZEN ROLLS IN
REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT TO USE.

5. SLICE WITH SHARP KNIFE INTO 1/8″ TO 1/4″ SLICES. PLACE ON SPRAYED BAKING
SHEET. BAKE AT 375 DEGREES FOR 10-12 MINUTES OR UNTIL BARELY COOKED. COOL ON
RACKS.
