An easy treat that both kids and adults love- yogurt parfaits.
Delta High Berry Parfait
½ cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
¼ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
¼ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
½ cup low-fat granola
Thaw berries if using frozen. Dice or crush strawberries. Taste strawberries and
add small amount sugar if needed. Place ¼-cup yogurt in bottom of 12-ounce
glass or clear plastic cup. Add thawed blueberries; add remaining ¼-cup yogurt;
top with strawberries. Add granola on top. Enjoy!
Spanish Fork High Swirled Parfait
¾ cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
¼ cup fruit puree (strawberry and peach)
½ cup low-fat granola
Place ¼-cup yogurt in bottom of 12-ounce glass or clear plastic cup. Add about
1-tablespoon fruit puree and swirl. Continue layering and swirling yogurt and
fruit until used. Top with granola. Enjoy
Orange Dream Parfait by Dannon
½ cup vanilla yogurt
½ cup canned mandarin oranges, drained
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
¾ cup crisp rice cereal
Mix drained oranges with orange juice concentrate. Place ¼-cup yogurt in
bottom of 12-ounce glass or clear plastic cup. Spoon half the oranges in on
yogurt; add remaining yogurt, then remaining oranges. Top with crispy rice
cereal.
Sweet Peach Delight Parfait by Dannon
½ cup vanilla yogurt
½ tablespoon brown sugar
dash cinnamon
⅔ cup frozen peach cubes, thawed (5.75 oz)
¾ cup frosted flakes
If peaches are in slices, chop. Mix peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Place ¼-cup yogurt in bottom of glass or clear plastic cup. Add half the peaches,
remaining yogurt and then remaining peaches. Tops with frosted flakes. Enjoy
