Salted Hazelnut Butter Bars

Whip up the ultimate after-school snack and you will be the most popular mom on the block.

Salted Hazelnut Butter Bars
1 1/2 c. butter, soft
2/3 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. all purpose flour
13 oz. Chocolate hazelnut spread

8×8 baking dish
Parchment paper
Kosher salt

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the flour and stir until dough is brought together. Press half the dough into a parchment lined 8×8 baking dish. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and top with the hazelnut spread. Place the remaining dough on the top of the hazelnut spread and press down slightly to secure. Bake another 12-15 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and cool completely before cutting. Makes 16 servings.
