Stand Out Teacher Gifts

Tremendous gifts for tremendous teachers! Give your child’s teacher a gift
that stands out from all the rest. Emily Hover, from Pioneer Party and Gift,
shares unique teacher gifts, sure to be the teacher’s favorite!

CANDY CANE SLEIGH:

We’ve taken a Christmas Chinese take-out box, added
candy canes on the bottom to make it look like a sleigh… It is ADORABLE!!
The tag reads, “A candy cane sled has come a-gliding, Carrying sweet wishes
and lots of good tidings! Merry Christmas Teacher” or “A sleigh-full of
goodies for a great teacher! Merry Christmas”

COMING DOWN THE CHIMNEY:

We’ve taken a Kraft 4x4x4 box, wrapped it
with paper to look like a chimney, and added “snow” to the top. You fill it
with anything and the tag reads, “You’ve been a great teacher… Look what’s
coming down the chimney for you!” We can’t help but add a “Look” candy
bar to the chimney – since the tag says “look” what’s coming…

SANTA PANTS:

Santa Pants! A red gable box is turned into Santa’s pants,
complete with suspenders, fur, holly, and buttons. All hand-made by us! Fill
it with anything and tag could read, “Santa said you’re an OVER-ALL great
teacher! Merry Christmas!” or “Ho Ho Hope you have a Merry Christmas!”
“Hope your holidays are filled up with Joy!”

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

(my son’s school sent a note home to all parents saying
that there is a need for some basic school supplies, so if we were buying gifts
for teachers, to spend the $$ on baby wipes, markers, glue sticks, and paper
towels – so we came up with some cute sayings to go with those items)

REAM OF PAPER:

A regular white ream of paper, covered with some cute
wrapping paper, and a label that says, “Teacher, Here’s a little something to
help you REAM in the New Year! Happy Holidays!” Cute? Check! Practical?
Check! Inexpensive? Check! I like this gift!

FILE DRAWERS:

A simple File Drawer turns into a Christmas gift. Fill up the
drawers with treats (or not), wrap some pretty ribbon around it, with a tag
that reads, “File away your schoolwork, and enjoy a great holiday season!”

GLUE STICKS:

“You’re the glue that holds our class together…thanks for
sticking with the job!” Tape them together with clear packing tape, wrap
ribbon around, and you have a big strip of glue sticks that is pretty eye
catchy!

MARKERS or COLORED PENCILS:

“You’ve shown your true colors, teacher –
and boy is it a good picture! Hope you have a very Merry (and colorful)
Christmas!” You could even have your child draw a picture for his/her
teacher to go with the markers.

PAPER TOWELS or BABY WIPES:

“I Wash you a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year!” or “Wipe any worries away and have a very Merry Christmas!”
Wrap the tag all the way around the paper towels for a finished look.

PAPER TOWEL TREE:

This is amazing! Take12 paper towel rolls, and lay them
on their side 4-3-
2-1, with two more on the bottom for a trunk. Use packing tape to secure
rolls. Then take a strip of wrapping paper and basically outline the edge of
your tree. Adorn the front (the tops of the rolls) with “ornaments” – “To a
TREE-mendous teacher!” What a statement this gift will make!

MONEY BOW:

“Have a (mini) shopping spree on me! Merry Christmas
Teacher!” Five $1 bills tied as a bow to the top of an apple, a chocolate
orange, or a box of chocolates!

TOP 10 THINGS TO DO WHILE ON CHRISTMAS BREAK:

We’ve made a simple
card explaining the things that every teacher should do while on Christmas
break. Framed & embellished – whala! A cute little creative gift to remind
your teacher to ENJOY the holidays!

COACH GIFT:

We have taken a whistle and adorned it with a sprig of holly,
wrapped it up with a water bottle… and one of our lovely employees has
made up this poem to go with it: “I’m blowing the whistle Coach, Stop-take a
breather to hear…I wish you a Merry Christmas, and a victorious season this
year!”
