Stich ribbons end-on-end for a pretty bow garland! A handy tool will be your sidekick…

Embrace the trend and make a bow garland.

They adorn almost everything lately. Our clothing, our hair, and our homes. It’s the detail that ties everything together – the bow. This dainty decoration continues to make an appearance in every aspect, and we are happy it’s hanging around. If you haven’t yet, it’s time to embrace the bow!

Kara Davis shared a few simple steps that will make a bow a perfectly polished embellishment.

How to Tie a Bow Without a Middle Knot

Tie a bow without a middle knot. By simply starting with the loops, you can manipulate and arrange your bow to perfection. Don’t pull the loops tight to keep the center soft and pretty. Always notch the ends of the ribbon to make them feel polished and finished.

Make a Bow Garland

Create a bow garland by attaching bows end on end. You can attach them with hot glue, but to make them clean and reusable, consider a micro-stitch gun to easily add them and break them apart when you’re done. Such a sweet decoration for a baby or bridal shower, a mantel, or a layer in décor.

Accessorize

Add bows to anything! To shoes, bags, balloons, baskets and of course, your hair.
