Holly Stone, Studio 5 Beauty and Style Contributor: “When you take a chance in fashion you have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. You get to explore your own individuality and personality and bring that forward with your selection in clothing. When we think of spring, we think of spring cleaning that’s a perfect time to clean out your closet and go try something new.”

Dr. Liz Hale, Studio 5 Clinical Psychologist: “When you think about it – everything in life is a chance – it’s a risk. Falling in love, getting married, having a family, changing careers, going back to school. And perhaps that’s why we don’t do some of those things. When we don’t take those risks, we risk even more. Let’s take the advice of Eleanor Roosevelt that says, ‘Do one thing every day that scares you.’ We’ve got these necks for one reason, maybe we need to stick them out a little bit!”

Becky Low, Studio 5 Kitchen Contributor: “When it comes to taking chances in the kitchen, if we don’t understand the ingredients or understand the recipe, it’s intimidating and unfortunately we lived in a very fast paced society and we don’t take the time to learn things that are new. We need to take the time to learn the skills and practice. Great things can happen when we take chances in the kitchen!”
