Hay Slide
Do you go with your family to a corn maze each year? Corn mazes are just one of the things Black Island Farms has to offer! One of my favorite things about Black Island Farms is the GIANT Hay Slide! When it comes to harvest time, Black Island is the place for fun….they call it Agri-tainment! Climb the rope ladder up to the slide (which stands several stories high) and you have a great view of the entire 400 acre farm!
Pig Races
Pig racing has long been a favorite attraction at county fairs and festivals, and now you can experience the fun at our farm!
The Black Island Piglets are in training right now and will soon be ready to run. Place your bets on the winner, and be ready for a good laugh when the starting gate opens.
Little known fact: You know why those pigs are so anxious to win? Because there are Oreos at the finish line! Season opens Sept 21st

Olympic Style High Dive Show
This show is new to the fair this year. It is a tribute to the US Divers who represented the US at the Olympics this summer in London. It is the World’s largest portable High Diving show with two 80-foot diving platforms and a 10-foot deep pool that is 26 feet in diameter. The show features a 6 man team performing dives that we saw in the Olympic Games as well as some that I’m pretty sure will never make it into the Olympics, such as the Clown Diving comedy routine. In addition to the Olympic High Dive Show, the famous Human Torch Fire Dive will be performed once a day.
Olympic Shows will take place daily at noon (12:00p.m.), 4:00p.m., and 7:30 p.m
This is part of the “Grounds Entertainment” and is free with Gate Admission.
