Smoked Salmon Alfredo Pasta
- 6 T butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- Filet smoked salmon broken into small pieces
- 2 cups cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Basil and pine nuts for garnish
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
Start by melting the butter in a large sauce pan, add minced garlic and salmon. Allow the salmon and garlic to saute in the melted butter for about five minutes stirring frequently
Add cream, lemon juice, and Parmesan and bring to a low simmer while stirring frequently until sauce thickens, about 8-10 minutes. Add fresh black pepper and then toss with noodles (Lindsey used two packages of Trader Joes Fettuccini).
