2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 Tbl. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 packed cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisins
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 Tbl. baking powder
1 packed cup brown sugar
3 unbeaten egg whites
1 cup coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
First Layer:
1. Crumble flour, butter, granulated sugar and salt in a large bowl.
2. Press firmly into ungreased 9″X13″ pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
Second Layer:
1. Mix well, brown sugar, butter, egg yolks, milk, vanilla, raisins, flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Pour over first layer. Bake for 25 min. at 350 degrees.
Third Layer:
1. Measure brown sugar, egg whites, coconut and vanilla into a bowl. Blend together.
2. Spread over second layer.
3. Return to oven for about 15 min.
Cool and serve.
