It’s the ultimate girl dinner! This Galentine’s Day menu is the sweetest spread

Serve up girl dinner for Galentine’s Day!

Show your girlfriends some love! A Galentine’s dinner is all for the girls—and this menu will make them feel so appreciated. So grab your girls, and grab your forks!

Alex Daynes shared four recipes you need to set the table with: elevated butter noodles, sweet kiss bread bites, caramel date bark, and a Dirty Shirley to drink.

Alex leaned into the ‘girl dinner’ trend with this menu. The term, popularized on TikTok, is a casual, often aesthetically pleasing meal made of readily available ingredients. “It’s essentially a quick and easy meal that doesn’t contain protein or fit the needs of most men in the house,” Alex added.

Additional Time: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups small pasta noodle of choice
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  4. Stir in the heavy cream, butter, and parmesan cheese.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy.

Sweet Kiss Bread Bites

Alex’s Sweet Kiss Bread Bites add a little sweet and savory appetizer to the table. Grab some naan dippers, top with Boursin cheese, and add a kiss of raspberry jam. “If you’re feeling extra, drizzle them with hot honey,” Alex recommended.

If you want to serve it party-style, press the Boursin cheese into a baking dish, add a large raspberry jam heart in the center, and serve it with naan dippers on the side.

INGREDIENTS

  • Naan Dippers
  • Boursin Garlic Spread
  • Raspberry Jam
  • Hot Honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grab some Naan dippers, top each with Boursin cheese, and add a dollop or a kiss of raspberry jam. If you’re feeling extra, drizzle them with hot honey.
  2. If serving party style, press Boursin cheese into a small baking dish. Make a heart in the middle with raspberry jam, as pictured above. Serve alongside naan dippers and hot honey.

Caramel Date Bark

Dates are totally having a moment right now. Alex incorporated them into a delicious dessert! Her caramel date bark is the perfect way to end your girl’s night on a sweet note.

INGREDIENTS

  • Dates: Medjool dates are preferred for their sweetness and texture. Make sure to remove the pits.
  • Almond Butter: Use natural almond or even creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture.
  • Chocolate: Use any melted chocolate you prefer.
  • Toppings: You can use anything you like here, such as flaky sea salt, sprinkles, nuts, M&Ms, or dried fruit.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Using a knife, slice the Medjool dates lengthways on one side and remove the pit. Layer them on a baking sheet and squash them down using a rolling pin.
  2. Melt the chocolate by adding it to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until smooth.
  3. Top the dates with almond butter, melted chocolate, desired toppings, and sea salt. Refrigerate for 2 hours (or freeze for 1 hour), then enjoy! Store chilled for best results.
