USANA Health Sciences: Children’s Hunger Run

USANA Vice President Dan Macuga and daughter Samantha talk about USANA upcoming Children’s Hunger Run.

2009 Children’s Hunger Run — Stop Hunger in its Tracks

Children’s Hunger Fund, or CHF, has been rated one of the most efficient charities in the world with over 99 cents of every dollar going toward providing needy children with food, medications, personal care items, shelter and support.

Over the last 6 years, USANA Health Sciences has held an annual 5K run walk during their Convention to help raise funds for CHF and get their Associates outside during Convention to enjoy the weather and get some exercise to start their day off right. Last year was the first year they opened the race up to the public and they had such a great response from local Salt Lake residents that they are doing the same thing again this year.

The 2009 Children’s Hunger Run is on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. at the EnergySolutions Arena and the walk starts at 7 a.m. It costs $20 to register, and it is free for kids under 12 (minimum $5 donation for a t-shirt). People can also register online at www.isupportchf.org.

USANA Health Sciences develops and manufactures high-quality nutritionals, personal care, energy and weight management products that are sold directly to Preferred Customers and Associates throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Mexico, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
