Use wallpaper to upcycle an old chair! The DIY that won’t cost you a fortune

Don’t buy a statement chair, upcycle an old chair for cheaper!

This is a DIY you could tackle in one weekend! You’ve probably already got everything you need to pull it off. If you’ve shopped for a good looking statement chair—you know it can cost a lot. We love the idea of upcycling what you already have to create a statement making piece without paying a statement price.

Laurel Harry shares the inspiration and how-to upcycle an old chair with wallpaper. She first saw a chair like this at Anthropologie, and wanted to attempt to remake the beautiful design, affordably. She thrifted an old IKEA chair, spray painted, wallpapered, and hit the jackpot.
