Remember when you were in elementary school and THE way to ask someone to be your girlfriend was to pass a note, carefully written on lined paper, and ask them to “check yes or no?” A Utah man used that approach to ask an even bigger question…and in a bigger way!
When a billboard went up last week along I-15, near Salt Lake reading: “Aubrie, will you marry me?” drivers were relieved to see a big red ‘X’ in the yes box. Newly engaged couple Travis Kawabata and Aubrie Speiser dropped by Studio 5 to share the story behind the sign.
