Utah Museum of Fine Arts

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts is your family’s passport to a world of art and culture. With a collection of nearly 18,000 objects from around the globe, as well as a dynamic schedule of changing exhibitions, every visit to the Museum is a new experience.

To help visitors explore the many art objects on view in the galleries, the UMFA creates a variety of year-round public programs for visitors of all ages. Don’t miss the fun art education programs and activities planned for summer 2010!

Third Saturday Art Activity for Families

FREE

On the third Saturday of every month from 2-4 pm, the UMFA holds a free studio art activity just for families. Third Saturday art activities begin with a tour of the UMFA, and end with an exciting hands-on art project in the classroom. Thanks to the Zoo, Arts, and Parks fund, more than 1,800 children and adults benefit from the UMFA’s Third Saturday program each year.
