Utah Scenic Drives

Catching fall foliage is all about timing. If you go too early the spectacular colors have yet to burst forth. Go too late and the leaves have fallen to the ground. This isn’t the case with the Alpine loop because the drive varies in altitude so much. The colors peak at different times along the route. Even now you are able to see some great color

This 27-mile backcountry road begins at American Fork Canyon and cascades up and over the 12,000 foot Wasatch Range into Provo canyon.

Once the snow flies however, this road is closed for the season so you better hurry to take advantage of some amazing views.
