Listen To Your Mother is half live-stage event, half social media project, a bridge that connects Utan bloggers and writers to our local community and with the world online.

What started with one performance in Madison, Wisconsin, has now become a nation-wide movement giving Mother’s Day a Microphone and creating a new way to celebrate Mother’s Day by giving a voice to motherhood.

24 shows are happening all across the country featuring local bloggers and writers, and Utah was selected to produce a show for our community. It is quite an honor.

The cast line-up is stellar. And includes: Abby Hatch, Aleisha McDaniel, Amy Hackworth, Carly Kerby, C Jane Kendrick, Heather Johnson, Holly Richardson, Jenny Eckton, Jenny Smith, Julie DeMille, June Haskell, Lindsey Redfern, Megan Conley, Melody Newey, Polly Scott and Shannan Busby.

The night will be a celebration of the good, the bad and the barely rested of motherhood. The show has been auditioned and produced, to feature the most humorous and heartwarming works to gather the community together at Thanksgiving Point on May 9th.

The curtain goes up at 7 pm on Thursday May 9th in the Amber Room of the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Tickets are $10.00 and will also be sold at the door. You don’t have to be a mom, or a woman to enjoy the show. There is something for everyone.

Listen To Your Mother would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift for the special woman in your life. Bring your mom, your girlfriend, your sisters, your husband, neighbor, your book club, and join us for a fantastic celebration of motherhood.

Every LTYMS donates a portion of ticket proceeds to charity. The Utah show has selected the Utah Children Justice Center as our charitable partner.
