Zions Mercantile Co. in The Shops at Riverwoods in Provo has a variety of
unique merchandise and fantastic gift ideas for those interested in the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ history and culture. These are

Sheri Duffy, from Zionz Mercantile highlights some of the new items in the
store.
Zions Mercantile products include artifacts from Nauvoo, Illinois including
temple stones, a Nauvoo legion uniform and an antique clock, replicas of
Porter Rockwell guns, Nauvoo legion guns, Books of Mormon, Salt Lake
Temple dedication tickets and life-size handcarts, leather-bound books,
aprons, journals, dishes, candles and gift ware.
“A few of the interesting items that we are carrying right now are beautiful
jewelry pouches for women and girls that are perfect for traveling,” says
Zions Mercantile Store Manager Sheri Duffy. “We also have this gorgeous
‘The Family: A Proclamation to the World’ that is engraved in wood, replica
swords, handmade quilts, bonnets and other trek items, along with our
vast selection of art and books.”
Zions Mercantile will be hosting a huge art event on Monday, Nov. 28
through Wednesday, Nov. 30. Several artists will be creating paintings at
the store that attendees can purchase and have signed. Zions Mercantile
will be providing refreshments on the opening and closing nights of the
event, and The Shops at Riverwoods will be offering carriage rides as well.
Starting Nov. 1 through Dec. 24, the store will also be giving away a free
Robert Boyd calendar with every art purchase of $300 or more. Boyd will
be available for signings at the art event as well.
The Shops at Riverwoods also has a promotion coming up for a new
cookbook sold at Zions Mercantile. The cookbook is called Lion House
Cakes and Cupcakes by Brenda Hopkins, and it sells for $19.99 in the
store. Beginning Nov. 18, the night of the lighting ceremony at The Shops
at Riverwoods, if you spend $150 in any of The Shops at Riverwoods’
stores, you can either choose to receive a free dessert plate or the Lion
House Cakes and Cupcakes cookbook. If you spend $250 in any of The
Shops at Riverwoods’ stores, you will receive the dessert plate and the
cookbook.
“Purchases at different shops may be combined to make you eligible to
receive this offer,” says Duffy. “This truly is a great deal.”
