Free Classes

Get prepared for every stage of baby, from pregnancy, infancy, and beyond. Admission to these classes are available at no extra charge. The classes will take place at The Main Stage located in the center of the Expo Hall.

Baby Sleep – BB Sleep Solutions

Learn about the importance of sleep for your baby, how to easily put your baby to sleep, lengthen your baby’s sleep time and prevent and treat colic. (30 minute classes)

Cloth Diapers – Valenzoo Baby

Learn the benefits of using cloth diapers. This class will offer you practical tips and ideas for making reusable diapers a breeze. (30 minute classes)

Toddler Dance Class – South Valley Creative Dance
Creative dance connects the mind, body and spirit. Through movement that is natural to the body, such as skipping, galloping, and turning, children are allowed to make choices, problem solve and evaluate. It is an active form of learning. Through patterns, shapes, rhythm and repetition, a child’s education is enhanced and they truly become part of the dance. Modern dance classes for older children include technique, improvisation and composition. Creative and modern dance is a “performance art,” not a competitive sport.

Car Seat Safety Demonstration – Safe Kids Salt Lake County

Learn the cutting edge information for properly installing your car seat. Ask the expert your toughest car seat instillation questions, get tips, and even have them check your car seat.

Childbearing Methods and Comfort Measures – Birthing Your Way

Learn the cutting edge information for the different childbearing methods you can choose from. Also, learn about the different comfort measures that will be available to you during childbirth.

Breastfeeding – Birthing Your Way

Learn the latching on technique, and other skills to make breastfeeding a comfortable bonding experience. This class is helpful for pregnant moms who plan on breastfeeding, as well as moms who are trying to breastfeed their infants and would like to get some tips to make it easier.

Baby Wearing – HugaMonkey Baby Slings

Learn how to hold your baby close and keep your hands free! Baby carriers are a great way to take care of your beautiful baby. In this class we’ll go over different ways to use a HugaMonkey pouch style baby carrier.

Utah Baby Guide’s Diaper Derby

Do you have a little speedster? The Diaper Derby is your chance to show off your little one and win great prizes! Hosted by the Utah Baby Guide. This diaper derby guarantees to be fun for all! Preliminary heats for this classic race will be going on throughout Saturday with the finals in the afternoon. Contestants can qualify their little racer by registering at The Baby Day Expo. One thing is for sure, you can bet everyone will love to watch these little tikes! So, Crawlers…start your engines!!! Win great prizes!

The Story Corner with Special Celebrity Appearances

Was your favorite “The Cat in the Hat” or “Where the Wild Things Are”? Hear some Utah Celebrities read their favorite children’s books! The Story Corner is the place for young children and grandchildren to learn and see the amazing selection of books and entertainment available and begin to experience the fun of reading! So everyone from 2 days to 200 years, pull up seat and get comfortable because its story time!

Fashion Show Chic and Unique Boutique will have a fun fashion show showing off the latest trends including fashionable hat wearing.
