Caputo’s Tuna Steaks with Sweet and Sour Onions


1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
4 3/4 inch thick tuna steaks, approx. 2 lbs.
2 med inions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
3 T sugar
salt to taste


Heat oil in skillet over med heatm add the fish cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side
or until done. Transfer to plate and keep warn in oven.

Add onions to the skillet and cook until they start to drown, Mix the sugar and
vinegar and add to the skillet, cook until vinegar is almost reduced away and onions
are glazedm 2 to 3 munites depending on heat. Spoon over tuna steaks and serve
immediatly.
